Committee Info:

Grievance Committee /Professional Standards Committee: Comprised of REALTOR® members and is charged with reviewing ethics and arbitration requests and enforcing the REALTOR® Code of Ethics through the hearing process. Individual begin by serving on the Grievance Committee and then are eligible to move up to the Professional Standards Committee. Training is required to sit on either the Professional Standards or Grievance Committee.

Events: Plans and executes projects beneficial to the community; creates and maintains a positive public image for the Lakeland Association of REALTORS®. Also, coordinates and arranges REALTOR® After Hours, other special functions and encourages attendance.

Education: Plans and coordinates programs to enhance member knowledge and professionalism.
Chairman-

Affiliate/REALTOR®: Compromised of REALTOR® and Affiliate members who show an interest in strengthening the Affiliate/REALTOR® relationship.
Chairman-

RPAC/RPIC: Establishes the Association as a recognized political force within the community; promotes voter registration; coordinates key contacts; monitors ordinances and legislation; keeps members aware of actions affecting the real estate industry. Arranges fundraising activities; encourages member contributions; promotes a positive political agenda at the Local, State and National levels.

Finance: Makes recommendations to invest association funds.

CID: To provide meaningful information and effective networking opportunities to LAR's Commercial REALTORS® and Affiliate members.
